Christophe Laure
Area General Manager
In October 2010, Christophe Laure was appointed General Manager of the InterContinental Paris Le Grand. At the end of 2013, Christophe Laure was named Area General Manager Paris. This position involved overseeing the opening of the Hotel Indigo Paris (2014) and Kimpton Paris (opening scheduled in 2021). In addition to this role, he is also in charge of managing other InterContinental Hotels owned by Katara Hospitality (Carlton Cannes, Amstel Amsterdam, InterContinental Madrid) since September 2018.
Native of Nice, graduate of the Lausanne Hotel School in Switzerland, he started his career in luxury hotels on the French Riviera. Joining InterContinental in 1992 as Director of Sales & Marketing of the Carlton in Cannes, he was then General Manager of the InterContinental Amman in Jordan, before overseeing the opening and repositioning of three of the group’s hotels in Egypt. In Europe, he has also been General Manager of the InterContinental in Malta, as well as Madrid.
In 2015, the French president awarded him the National Order of Merit. In 2016, he was appointed President of UMIH Prestige and he is also a member of the CCE (French Trade Advisors).
