Debra Erickson serves as Executive Director of Atlantis Blue Project Foundation, Marketing Director for San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance, and President of the International Zoo Educators Association. She has been in the conservation, communications, interpretation, marketing, and education fields for over 30 years and has worked for eight zoos and aquariums around the world including Atlantis, Paradise Island, Atlantis, The Palm, San Diego Zoo, San Diego Zoo Safari Park, SeaWorld San Diego, SeaWorld Orlando, SEA Aquarium, and Dolphin Island.

Ms. Erickson’s previous positions include Executive Director and Conservation Director of Orangutan Foundation International, Director of Marketing and Director of Communications for ZiLOG, Inc., a semiconductor manufacturer, and Director of International and Environmental Communications for Anheuser-Busch Companies. She received her B.A. in Biology from Scripps College and her M.A. in Instructional Design from San Diego State University.
