Chief Operating Officer
Diana Lerma
Diana Lerma maintains a practice focused on labor and employment issues in the hospitality industry. Diana’s goal is to provide a complete representation individually tailored to each client’s needs, from counseling her clients on prevention, completing independent investigations into misconduct, and attempting to resolve disputes early on, to providing vigorous representation throughout the litigation process and trial. Diana’s experience as an ardent corporate advisor and skilled litigator allows her to serve as outside general counsel to many clients.

Diana believes in creating and implementing an active prevention program tailored for each of her clients. Diana’s work with Stokes Wagner puts a special emphasis on eliminating problems before they arise. To that end, her prevention strategy always includes tailored trainings for managers and hourly employees on issues such as diversity, harassment, discrimination, and abusive conduct prevention, and appropriate workplace conduct. Diana has conducted over 150 training seminars nationwide for employees and believes that through the implementation of an interactive training program, an appropriate workplace culture is created, and proper conduct follows, thereby preventing future litigation. Her dedication to prevention has resulted in a significant decrease in issues and complaints for her clients.

Diana also is frequently hired to complete independent investigations into allegations of wrongful conduct ranging from discrimination, harassment, abusive conduct and other matters. Diana prides herself on maintaining an open mind and reporting back her conclusions in an honest and ethical manner.

Throughout Diana’s ten years of practicing law she has defended clients in complex cases as well as advocated for employees in employment claims. Diana has extensive trial experience where she has obtained successful outcomes for her clients and she uses that experience to prevent problems before they arise in her role as outside general counsel.
