Donte Johnson, Area Director and General Manager at the Hotel Revival has just joined the International Luxury Hotel Association’s East Coast Chapter Leadership Board.

Donte Johnson is a successful hospitality professional and a native of Washington D.C. After graduating from Saint Peter’s University, he started his career with Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants where he held various positions including concierge, director of guest services, area revenue manager, and assistant general manager.

In 2009, he became the youngest employee ever promoted to general manager for Kimpton Hotels. Johnson has served as a general manager at five properties across three cities, including his current role at Revival in Baltimore since 2019. He is responsible for executing the hotel’s commercial strategy, managing hotel and property operations, and community relations. Johnson is passionate about social impact and has led many programs and initiatives supporting the community and philanthropic efforts. He has been recognized for his leadership and contributions to the hospitality industry, including being named an “Influential Marylander” in 2022, one of Baltimore Business Journal’s “Leaders in Diversity” in 2021, and a member of the Washington Business Journal’s “Top 40 Under 40” in 2011. Johnson is actively involved in mentoring young people and serving on the board of various organizations. His work has been featured in several publications and media outlets.
