Embers Aquatics

Embers Aquatics CIC, is a Social Enterprise. 100% of profits from all activities are reinvested back into water safety education and teaching the world to swim.  Embers founded The International Hotel Pool Safety Mark™ Accreditation to support hotels to provide the highest level of water safety for their guests and to ensure their pools are well maintained and looked after.   Rates of drowning are particularly high in the tourism industry so this is a critical area to focus on.

We provide hotels with bitesize training modules and ongoing support in pool operations, staff training and pool plant. This leads to an accreditation to ensure the gold standard in safe & efficient pool operations at your facility. The Mark instils confidence to your guests that you provide world class water safety. When they see the Mark they can be assured of robust policies and procedures alongside rigorous staff training taking place behind the scenes in order to keep them safe during their stay.

All profits from the International Hotel Pool Safety Mark are reinvested back into water safety initiatives.   Having always loved swimming and being a swimming teacher, founder Anna Roscoe was shocked to discover the high rates of drowning in developing countries. Whilst working on voluntary projects and travelling, Anna witnessed first-hand how bad the problem was and how many children could not swim. As a Swimming Tutor there was a simple fix to the problem, teach children to swim.

As the environment is all of our responsibility, all training and swimming lessons also includes a 5 minute beach clean-up and education about looking after the water, preventing rubbish entering it. All Ambassadors take that message back to their communities.

Working with local partners where there are some, Embers Aquatics is now on a mission to train Water Safety Ambassadors and Swimming Teachers in areas with high rates of drowning worldwide. Swimming Saves Lives. Love Water. Respect Water.
