How are you streamlining operations to work smarter and still retain your fun reputation?
Dream Hotel Group has always been known as a dynamic and vibrant oasis, focusing on a sense of fun and adventure, and Dream Hollywood is no exception. In order to deliver this experience, we have created a nimble operating model with a highly experienced team of hospitality professionals, which has been able to seamlessly transition into the world we all find ourselves in today. We have leaned into cutting-edge technology to enhance the guest experience and elevate us into the future of travel and hospitality. This includes contactless check-in, concierge services over text, and in-room tech offerings, as well as Alfred, a beloved little Savioke delivery robot who roams the lobby awaiting requests. We have also added to our in-room content and amenities for guests, which we believe are useful whether they are maintaining their wellness routines, looking for a quiet place to work away from home, or simply trying to unwind and have fun. We are thrilled to partner with Therabody to provide massage devices for our guests. We also offer state-of-the-art home office equipment for set up in guest rooms upon request. And of course, our partners at TAO Group have incorporated absolutely stunning outdoor dining patios at The Highlight Room Grill, Tao, and Beauty & Essex, which are all currently offering dine-in services and carry-out. Our focus right now is on remaining creative and positive to provide a safe, welcoming, and always fun experience for our guests.
What changes have you made to your events and nightlife?
Dream Hollywood is so fortunate to be positioned in the heart of Hollywood, with ample opportunities for outdoor dining, all of which adhere to the stringent Los Angeles County protocols for creating a secure and friendly dining and nightlife environment. The Highlight Room Grill and Pool, which has always been an outdoor experience, is our rooftop gem overlooking the Hollywood Sign and Griffith Observatory. We are currently offering food and beverage services all day here, as well as special menus and offers for Game Days, Halloween, and other big events. We have created gorgeous outdoor dining patios at both Tao and Beauty & Essex to bring back the unparalleled dining and entertainment experiences guests have come to expect from both venues. For each of these activations, our teams have really come through as the rock stars, providing seamless and thoughtful service that gives our guests space to unwind and just enjoy the opportunity to have a night out.
How are your staff coping with working under the new guidelines?
There is no doubt that these are challenging times for everyone, but our team remains positive and optimistic about our mission to continue offering the latest luxury and lifestyle experience to our guests. We understand the importance of the services we are providing to our guests, now more than ever, as we give them an opportunity to travel and retreat in a safe and warm environment. We really lean on each other and relish the positive energy of our staff, who help us keep up the lively and fast-paced environment that we have always embraced at Dream Hollywood.
