The International Luxury Hotel Association (ILHA) has chosen the Arizona Biltmore as the host for its 11th conference on luxury hospitality, partly due to its recent transformation.
The hotel originally opened in 1929 as the grandest hotel of Hollywood’s Golden Age, with Frank Lloyd Wright’s dramatic style seen throughout the property. The collaboration between Wright and Albert Chase McArthur gave birth to a much-loved Arizona landmark, and Virserius Studio, PHX Architecture, and Jim Smith of Serving the Nation, Inc. – all of whom have deep knowledge of Frank Lloyd Wright’s mindset – were purposely commissioned for this 15-month project to meticulously restore, repair and celebrate the Arizona Biltmore while reinventing the experience for guests as it steps into the future.
New dining concepts and the adults-only Saguaro Pool, The Spire Bar, and the desirable Tierra Luna Spa delight guests in a magical setting near the base of the Phoenix Mountain Preserve.
